Sharp Technical Resources, based in North Haven, CT, provides companies with fully outsourced resources for small-to-large software development projects. All projects are fully managed by the Sharp team to be able to offer companies a complete turnkey program and solution. The development projects that Sharp Technical Resources provides includes custom software development for project development and business analysis, project management, code development, integration/3rd party web-based services, and quality assurance. “Clients kept asking for us to expand with more software development capabilities—either because they couldn’t find off-the-shelf solutions that met business needs or vendors that could not integrate between disparate software packages,” said Kate Cervoni, COO, Edge Technology Services. “Based on our 11-years of providing technical talent for in-house software development projects, Sharp Technical Resources was a natural extension.” Scott Andrews, Senior Project Manager, who oversees the current Sharp Technical Resources project in North Haven, commented: “By utilizing us as an outsourced resource, our clients are able to not only stay on top of the latest technology and software development tools, but they are also able to complete the projects faster and more cost effectively than by doing so in-house or otherwise.” Sharp opened on January 16, 2012 and currently employs 20 people in the North Haven, CT area.
